This is to acknowledge receipt of your request that State Permit No. WQ0006036 be
rescinded. Your request indicated that the facility will discharge the proposed remediation
effluent into the City of Kannapolis POTW, and that the permit is no longer needed.
By copy of this letter, I am requesting confirmation from our Mooresville Regional
Office that this permit is no longer needed. After verification by the regional office that the
permit is no longer needed, State Permit No. WQ0006036 will be rescinded.

Emro Marketing Company (Emro) is returning the enclosed invoice for the Annual
Administering and Compliance Monitoring Fee and is requesting cancellation of the subject Non-
NPDES Permit. The City of Kannapolis, North Carolina is in the process of extending a
sanitary sewer system into the area of our store. Since this is the case, Emro has applied for
a permit to discharge the proposed remediation system effluent into the local POTW. An
infiltration gallery will not be required do to the POTW discharge permit, therefore, Emro is
requesting cancellation of the referenced permit.
