Reference is made toward rescission of the subject edi tion Permit.
Staff of the Wilmington Regional Office have confirmed that this NonDischarg(,- Permit is
no longer required. Therefore, State Permit No. WQ0005859 is rescinded, effective
immediately.
If in the future you wish to again operate under a nondischarge wastewater treatment
system, you must first apply for and receive a new State Permit. Operating without a
valid State Permit will subject the facility to a civil penalty of up to $10,000 per day.
Within 60 days of this rescission, the following must be performed: 1) the existing�C,4v'yp`
monitoring wells must be abandoned in accordance with 15A NCAC 2C .0113
(Abandonment of Wells A Wellabandonment record (form GW-�30) must be submitted
to and approved by th Mooresville egional Office and the OfficePermits
& Compliance nit e ore the abandonment of the g wells.

Mercer Environmental Corporation
Nondischarge Permit No. WQ0005859
Onslow County
The writer has investigated the subject. Nondischarge Permit
No. WQ00012492, issued to Blake Farms, contains NPDES Permit No.s
NC0031577 & NC0032239 as sludge sources. Based upon this finding,
Nondischarge Permit No. WQ0005859, which listed NC0031577 &
NC0032239 as sources, will no longer be needed. The site contains
groundwater monitoring wells. These wells should be closed -out in
accordance with Division guidelines at some time after permit
rescission. The Central Office Groundwater Section should be
contacted relative to groundwater quality evaluation and well
close-out. The Wilmington Water Quality Group recommends permit
rescission for Permit No. WQ0005859 with appropriate approval
from the Central Office Groundwater Section.
