Enter Inspection Summary
Staff visited the impact site and the restoration site on September 27, 2006. The impact site is a
erennisl stream which will be flooded for pond creation- The impacts are 96 linear feet and thezefore do
of require mitigation. The restoration site is located approximately 5 miles from the impact site. the
roposed stream restoration is part of a restoration plan originally designed in response to a NOV from a
different property owner/project in 2001. The NOV required restoration for unauthorized impacts for a
subdivision. The stream restoration plan proposed was for approximately twice what was required for the
iolation. Hased on observations of D1dQ staff, the restoration work was inadequate (too much sinuosity -
erfect "S" shapes and not enough structure - stream is downcuttingl. The applicant is proposing to use

ommend approval with the following condition:
The applicant shall provide a revised stream restoration plan to MAO and the plan must be approved by
iTQ staff prior to construction of the stream restoration.
All standard monitoring and buffer conditions shall apply.
