Dear Mr. Edens:
We are in receipt of your letter of October 17, 2008 requesting an extension of the
completion date for the groundwater sampling well abandonment requirement in the most recent
issuance of Permit No. WQ0000961, dated September 30, 2008. Permit Condition I.1. requires
the permanent abandonment of monitor wells MW -104, MW -105, MW -105A, MW -106,
MW -107 and MW -108 within sixty days of permit issuance. We understand that this extension
request has been prompted by uncertainties associated with the status of the groundwater
remediation project that the wells were initially installed to monitor.
We are hereby extending this deadline by an additional 60 days (120 days total) to
