This is to acknowledge receipt of your request that State Permit No. WQ0000347 be
rescinded. Your request indicated that this facility has tied into the North Durham Water
Reclamation Facility and that you no longer need this permit.
By copy of this letter, I am requesting confirmation from our Raleigh Regional Office
that this permit is no longer needed. After verification by the regional office that the permit
is no longer needed, State Permit No. WQ0000347 will be rescinded.

Treyburn Limited Partnership hereby requests that NC DEHNR rescind the above -
referenced permit. The subject permit was issued to Treyburn Limited Partnership on
April 15, 1994 for the construction and operation of the Treyburn Land Application Facility.
The facility was intended as an interim wastewater treatment and spray irrigation facility
to serve the Treyburn development until such time that the North Durham Water
Reclamation Facility upgrade was complete.
The land application facility construction was never fully completed and, as a result of the
current status of the upgrade to the North Durham Water Reclamation Facility, it no longer
needs to be placed into service. All Treyburn wastewater effluent (present and future) it
tributary to the Eno River Wastewater Pumping Station, where it is conveyed to the North
Durham Water Reclamation Facility for treatment. Please contact Terry Sanford at (919)
