Town of Fremont
Wastewater Treatment and
Wastewater Spray Irrigation Facilities
Wayne County
On March 15, 1996, the subject permit renewal was issued for the Town of Fremont's
Wastewater Treatment and Spray Irrigation Disposal System. It is understood the Town is
concerned about the existing spray irrigation site meeting the updated spray irrigation buffers listed
in permit condition 1.5. Please be assured this permit condition is intended for any future spray
irrigation site modifications, extensions, or additions. The Town of Fremont is expected to
maintain the originally permitted spray irrigation buffers for the existing 43.5 acre spray irrigation
site.
If you need additional information concerning this matter, please contact myself at 9191
733-5083 extension 540, or Mr. John Seymour at extension 546.

Fremont, Town Spray Permit
John Seymour
We recently issued a permit to them (renewal) WQ4728 and included all of our new buffers.
Please pull the permit and make sure that we included the statement saying that the new
buffers would only apply to new facilities and not all of the existing facilities. If we failed to
do that, I either want to prepare a new permit with that statement in there or prepare a letter
explaining this. We did not mean for him to think that those new ones apply to all the
existing facilities that he has out there. Once you pull it and review, talk to me and we will
decide which action to take. Tks, Carolyn
