The Division has received the request dated January 29, 1997 from John Scarff of Leland Resin
Corporation concerning the rescission of Non -Discharge Permit No. WQ0004367. This letter stated that
Leland Resin Corporation's wastewater will now be routed and treated by Brunswick County's
wastewater treatment system. Therefore, as you requested, Non -Discharge Permit No. WQ0004367 will
be rescinded, effective immediately.
If in the future, you determine that you need another Non -Discharge spray irrigation permit, you
must first apply for and receive a new Non -Discharge Permit. Operation of a non -discharge spray
irrigation system without a valid Non -Discharge Permit will subject Leland Resin Corporation to a civil
penalty of up to $10,000 per day.
If there is a need for any additional information or clarification, please contact Mr. Randy Kepler at
(919) 733-5083 extension 544.
Sincerely,
1
