Reference is made toward expiration of the subject State Permit. Staff of our
Asheville Regional Office have confirmed this facility has another permit for processing of
class A residuals and that this NonDischarge Permit is no longer required_ State Permit
No. WQ0004319 is allowed to expire, effective March 31, 1996.
If in the future you wish to again operate a Sludge/Land Application type of
nondischarge wastewater treatment system, you must first apply for and receive a new
State Permit. Operating without a valid State Permit will subject the facility to a civil
penalty of up to $10,000 per day.
