Box 256 Salisbury, Maryland 21803 Subject: Well Abandonment American Soils Corporation SR1300 Permit No. WQ0003704 Northampton County Dear Mr. Twilley: On October 22, 1992 Mr. Greer of this office took soil samples at the disposal site of American Soils Corporation located on SR1300 in Northampton County. The Division's analysis confirmed your position that all of the applied material has been remediated to below state standards. Based on there analytical results the Division will no longer require groundwater monitoring of this site. The groundwater regulations require the monitoring wells on this site to be abandon in accordance with North Carolina Administrative Code Title 15A Subchapter 2C Section .0113 (see attachments). Upon receipt of the well abandonment records the Division of Environmental Management will close all of our files on Permit WQ0003704.
