Dear Mr. Becker:
Division of Water Resources' Central and Regional staff has reviewed the application package received
October 3, 2017. However, additional information is required before the review may be completed. Please
address the items below no later than the close of business on January 19, 2018.
➢ Condition I.I. of the April 3, 2009 permit required that the Permittee shall submit
original copies of a scaled site map for the groundwater monitoring wells. A clear,
understandable map has not been submitted to our office. Please submit the map
including monitoring wells MW -1, MW -3A, MW -7, MW -9 with the location and
identity of each well, location of major components of the reclaimed water system,
location of the property boundaries, and the date the map is prepared.
➢ Condition V.9. of the April 3, 2009 permit noted a "Wastewater Irrigation Agreement"
was executed in January 1996, and amended in December 2003 and August 2004
between and among Aqua North Carolina, Inc., Governors Club Limited Partnership,
Governors Club, Inc., and Governors Club Property Owners Association, Inc. This
agreement established the ownership of and operation/maintenance responsibilities for
the various components of the wastewater treatment and reclaimed water utilization
facilities. According to the Secretary of State website
https://www.sosnc.izov/divisions/business registration some of the listed Governor's
Club entities are no longer registered businesses. Please amend the agreement with the
current entities and submit it to our office.
Please be aware that you are responsible for meeting all requirements set forth in North Carolina rules
and regulations. Any oversights that occurred in the review of the subject application package are still the
Applicant's responsibility. In addition, any omissions made in responding to the outstanding items or
failure to provide the additional information on or before the above requested date may result in your
application being returned as incomplete.
