Date of field visit: March 12, 2015
Description of review activities, results, and conclusions:
A survey of the project was conducted March 12, 2015, due to the presence of a house over fifty
years of age within the Area of Potential Effects, which is 300' from each end of the bridge and
75' from the centerline each way. After a site visit, it was determined the 1945 one-story frame
house, located northeast of the bridge, and an associated barn, located directly south of the
bridge, are unremarkable and not eligible for National Register listing. In additional to being a
common form, the house also has had material changes, such as replacement of the roof, siding,
and front porch that diminish its integrity. Bridge No. 56, built 1964, is also not eligible for NR
listing. There are no National Register listed or eligible properties. If design plans change,
additional review will be required
