Please see the email below from the Cary Fine, PE the Resident Engineer concerning the
complaint of turbidity on the Troy Bypass project.
I rode through the project myself yesterday and I agree with Cary's assessment.
The soils in that region tend to contain a higher than normal level of fine silt that's not
easily abated, even when put through a silt bag. Although the water may show color and
turbidity there is typically little to no deposition.
Also; April, I hope you got the email yesterday from Justin Bullock concerning the
Dogwood Ln project in Pittsboro.
Please pass this information on to all of the interested parties.

Pm not sure who needs to know this. Montgomery County, Troy
bypass (under construction) is making Little River and Rocky
Creek terrible muddy, silty. I think someone should address this
before we get down pours from hurricane Florence. That is the
only two places I have crossed Pm sure there are more areas up and
down the project.
Tammy could you help see this through?
