TROGDON, III SECRETARY Re: Preliminary JD Request: U-3400 — Archdale Road (SR 1577/SR 1004) Widening, Archdale, Randolph and Guilford Counties, NC Dear Ms. Norton, The attached preliminary jurisdiction request reflects the results of our on-site field meeting August 22, 2018. The following revisions were made: • E4 was extend upstream towards Archdale Road; • SB downstream of Archdale Road was determined to be perennial; • E6 was added; • The channels upstream of Balfour Road was determined to be ephemeral (E7); • E8 was added; and • The feature labeled as ES in the July 3, 2018 submittal was determined to be perennial. It is depicted as SG. WE, WG, WF, WAF, Pond A, E3 and WI are not located within the Randleman Lake Watershed. These features are located within the Upper Uwharrie River Watershed (03040103) which is part of the Yadkin Pee-Dee River Basin. The Uwharrie River's stream index number is 13-2-(0.5) and has a use classification of WS-III. Figures 2-8 and 2-9 show the watershed boundaries. All the ponds shown on the figures are connected to other surface waters. The wetland features shown in the figures were approved by the Corps.
