Inspection Summary:
Met with Craig Garrison, Facility Contact USACE, Ken Bailey, Site Manager USACE, and Anthony Watts, ERGO USACE.
Reviewed the NOI and permit requirements for sampling and SWPPP. The sampling points are determined to be as per
submitted. The first point is at the ramp. There are sand bags to prevent tidal flooding and a sump pump. Recommended
that the sample be taken from the ramp, not the ponded water behind the sand bags. The second sample point is the
stormwater discharge pipe. The pipe has a one-way valve and is inundated every day. Samples will be pulled from last inlet.
This point should qualify for ROS if samples in the next year are good.
Behind the maintenance shop they collect 55 -gallon drums. The drums are cut and wiped down. There is some minor oil
residue on the gravel. Recommend using a tarp in the area they cut and wipe.
The yard is in early planning to be raised 4 feet.
