The document discusses dwarf flowered heartleaf and says (page 34) that surveys will need to be conducted for the project. Apparently, there is an occurrence very near the slope stake lines in one area but there is no map that I can find and the author dismisses this occurrence by saying it is outside the slope stake lines. If this corridor hasn't been surveyed, it should be before a final alignment is chosen. I don't recall ever having seen an NRTR for this project so I only have the information in the EA to go on. I wasn't sure who the project manager is, thus the e-mail to you. I've been trying to get through several large reviews and just realized comments were due last week. Given that this project isn't funded for ROW or construction, I suppose there isn't much hurry, but surveys should be completed before a final alignment is chosen. If you have questions, please call or e-mail. thank you marella marella buncick USFWS 160 Zillicoa St. Asheville, NC 28801 828-258-3939 ext237 People don't resist change, they resist being changed
