Dear Ms. Wilson,
After consulting with my client, Scott Campbell, he has decided to no longer pursue the
in-line pond remediation project, and will not dam the creek. However, we are still planning to
replace the previously damaged CMP culverts with dual 18" CPP pipes in order to pass a
minimum 50-year storm event under the driveway and eliminate any future over-topping. There
are now two proposed impact zones: Zone 1=40 L.F., Zone 2= 45 L.F. for a total length of
impact of approximately 85 ft. These pipes will be installed slightly below the streambed with
the excavated rock placed back inside the bottom of the pipe. We would like to modify the
existing application to reflect these changes and to obtain the required permit.
