Can you please provide more details for the following impacts: Wetland Impact #3: The wetland impact for 0.02 acres -please clarify the specifics for this impact -is it fill for the retaining wall. c The wetland impacts are associated with the graded slope below the retaining wall. This grade is necessary in order to reduce erosion along the bottom side of the retaining wall and into the natural drainage way that is down -gradient from the retaining wall. Stream Impact (Impact area #1 for 296 linear feet) -you noted this impact in the PCN as excavation. Please provide more details describing exactly what type of excavation will be carried out for the stream impact-i.e. will the stream be culverted or will it be filled in with gravel/fill material etc. What measures will betaken to prevent a sink hole in the future which can cause in -stream sediment. o We anticipate filling the area in by utilizing gravel/ select materials in accordance with the spec section which is attached. A geotechnical testing company will monitor the placement of materials in this area and confirm that the undercuts, fill, and compaction are completed in accordance with the specs. Please explain where all the Stormwater will go on the site -according to the plan it is not clear. Please describe measures to prevent overland flow which in turn will cause rills and gullies in the riparian buffer. o The stormwater from the site will flow into an underground stormwater piping system which will carry stormwater into the Stormwater Detention Vaults (which is the device depicted below). From there, the stormwater will flow into an outlet structure and across the level spreader, which will distribute the flow across a 120 ft. wide area outside of the riparian buffer zone. See Sheet C3.4 for details. Last, can you explain exactly what this "object/device" is: o These are Stormwater Detention Vaults, which are concrete detention vaults being used to collect the storm runoff and allow the rate and volume to be reduced by controlling the release rate.
