PROTECT NARRATIVE
The subject property for which this low-pressure sewer analysis applies is located at 8977
Stephens Church Road within Wilmington, New Hanover County, NC. According to the latest
FEMA flood panels the property is not within the flood plain (Zone X), and according to the
USGS the property drains to Island Creek which has a stream classification of C; Sw (index #18-
74-50) and is within the Cape Fear River Basin.
The Developer (SCR8977, LLC) desires to install a Toes -pressure sewer system to serve the 42 -
unit residential development. It is proposed that all wastewater will be collected from each unit
to individual pump stations, which would then pump by way of low-pressure sewer to a
gravity sewer manhole near the proposed subdivision's entrance.
The low-pressure sewer system for which thisro osed development is

modeled to ensure adequate velocities are present for scour and that theum '

able to perform within their range of typical operating head. Provided for in '

pump station, is 24 hours' worth of waste water storage above the pump on elevation.

reference the Sewer Figure and calculations within this submittal for supporting documentation
and additional information.
For this fast track submittal, the above private sewer will be conveyed by a public CFPUA
gravity sewer system to the downstream manhole. The flow for the development is part of the
private system therefore showing zero flow in this gravity sewer permit application.
