Subject: DWR 2018-0891 Shoreline Stabilization Add -Info Request
On June 27, 2018, the Division of Water Resources (Division) received your application dated June 21, 2018, requesting a
401 Water Quality Certification from the Division for the subject project. The Division has determined that your
application is incomplete and cannot be processed. The application is on hold until all of the following items are
addressed:
• Please clarify if the shoreline will be graded back to a gentler slope.
Please clarify the extent of shoreline stabilization above and below the full pond level you are proposing on
Gunpowder Creek in the backwaters of Lake Hickory (ex: 2' height above x 200' length). The information you
provided in your application was not clear.
Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02H .0502(e), the applicant shall furnish all of the above requested information for the
proper consideration of the application. Please provide a response by August 17, 2018.
