Dear Mr. Goscicki:
On August 13, 2018, this Office received a report from Emergency Management of a 60,000 -
gallon sludge spill at 12 -Mile Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. The site was investigated by
Roberto Scheller of this Office on August 13, 2018, at 1:27 p.m. At the time of the spill
investigation, approximately 80% of spilled sludge had been cleaned up and the spill had not
reached surface waters. A second site visit may be necessary to ensure complete clean up and
evaluate any environmental impacts. The enclosed report should be self-explanatory; however,
