Additional notes
BBR1- proposed R, Ok for R here, somewhat incised, some bank failure
BBR2- could be E2 but will go with R since they are proposed to raise bed to wet up some of the floodplain
BBH-01- some of this proposed R could be jurisdictional.
UT4-R2- proposed E1, ok especially since they will have to remove alot of privet from banks.
Don't like that the lower pond will stay but will be "modified". Upper small pond will be removed. upstream of
this alot of adjacent wetlands.
This reach- lower UT4-R1 where valley flattens there is alot of wetlands and stream channel needs work in a
few areas but not much riparian buffer at all.
Once the stream goes up valley, alot of bed material, cobble, could be E1 reach. Or some combination of
E2-1 and R, at least up to bedrock stepdown area.
Upper UT4-R1- proposed R, could be a combo of E1 and R.
Walked across field to UTR-1, what we saw lower reach which was proposed for R was definitely not R, but
Pres.
Also, Pres reach UT1A, out because no flow...
Pres reach UT1 D- loses flow in the middle.
Did not look at upper UTI -R2 or UT2
Some areas have potential for good functional uplift, others not as much. Basically removing the cattle and
fencing will be the most beneficial.
