Give it three weeks from your receipt of the letter, and we'll put this note in the file. Your letter states that we have 3 weeks to respond to this letter which would be this Thursday (1/11/07). Kimley-Horn is working on a response and we do plan to get you this information by the deadline. Since this letter was received during the Christmas/New Year holiday period we did not see the letter until January 2. If we need an extra week to submit the information would that be acceptable? I do not know if we need to time yet. I will be talking to Chad Evenhouse of Kimley-Horn later this morning to see where they stand with the response. I just want to cover our bases if the extra time is needed due to the timing of the letter and the fact that we were all our of the office for more than a week. 1 of 1 1/9/2007 2:27 PM Request for additional information Subject: Request for additional information From: "Steve Whitt" <steve.whitt@martinmarietta.com> Date: Tue, 9 Jan 2007 09:35:37 -0500 To: <cyndi.Karoly@ncmail.net> We received your letter dated 12/21/06 requesting additional information related to our Individual Permit Application for our East Alamance Quarry.
