Send all suspicious email as an attachment to Report Spam.<mailto:report.spam@nc.gov> Good afternoon Steve, Based on the email below, the September 7, 2017 NWP 13 verification included 300 If of (extra) stabilization efforts along Halfmile Branch, anticipating the need for additional areas of improvement. This was referenced as Area 11. As such, this 300 If of impacts more than covers the 70 If referenced in your May 18, 2018 PCN submittal. In short, Area 11, approved for 300 If on September 7, 2017 covers the 70 If of "additional stabilization" along northern Halfmile Branch. No further coordination is required by our office for these impacts. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns. First the cooling pond repair project was completed on August 31. We area presently working on the alternative spillway. The project will be prepared and secured prior to any potential impact from the hurricane. Second the HF Lee 125 project. Our engineers have been out this morning accessing Half Mile Branch and feel that we may need to sure up approximately 300 additional linear feet of the stream to protect the stream from potential issues that may arise from the hurricane. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information. I can be reached via cell phone at (919) 632-0129 or via email. Thanks for your help, Steve
