Please note that as part of this Tax Certification process the DEQ staff did not make any efforts to

Staff of the Division of Water Resources inspected these treatment units and/or equipment on
July 11, 2018, and found based on the information supplied by the applicant that the facilities and/or
equipment listed on the attached application meet the following requirements for Tax Certification:
1. The property has been, or will be,constructed or installed;
2. The property complies with, or if still under construction will comply with, the requirements of the
EMC;
3. The property is being effectively operated,or will when completed be required to operate,in accordance
with the terms and conditions of approvals issued by the EMC; and
4. The property has, or when completed will have, as its primary rather than incidental purpose the
reduction of water pollution resulting from the discharge of sewage or waste.
Please note that as part of this Tax Certification process the DEQ staff did not make any efforts to
confirm either the cost of the items certified or the year of their acquisition.

recovered product. Each of these items are part of the former pump and treat
groundwater remediation system that was used prior to installation of the air
sparge system. Per Mr. Dilling, these items remain on sire and are inactive,but
could be restarted if needed. From my understanding, the system has been offline
for multiple years. Based on my field observations,tanks that would have
received recovered product have been removed from the site, and bringing the
system back online would require reinstallation of those tanks or installation of
new piping to another on-site tank.

I wasn't sure if the original intent and historical use should warrant inclusion on
this list or if they should now reclassify it strictly as air pollution equipment.
