Describe the existing land use or condition of the site at the time of this application (residential, undeveloped, etc.): Undeveloped residential 6. Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or why it is necessary): Lakeside drop off of 6-10 feet experiencing significant erosion. Multiple trees near drop off are in jeopardy of falling into lake. Each tree fall takes significant chunk of shoreline into lake. Erosion accelerated by boat wake. Plan is to use rip rap to stabilize shoreline and perform work when lake level is lowered this October 2018. 7. Will work be conducted from land? � LAND From water? ❑ 8. Total amount of impacts below the normal pool lake level / Normal Water Level Permanent impacts (including all excavation, backfill, rip rap, retaining walls, etc.) in square feet: 375 square feet (75 ft of shoreline at approximately 5 ft up to full pond level) Temporary impacts in square feet: 9. Total amount of impacts above the normal pool lake level / Normal Water Level and 50 feet land -ward Permanent impacts (including back fill, excavation, rip rap, retaining walls, etc.) in square feet: 375 square feet (75 ft of shoreline at 5 ft above full pond level) Temporary impacts (temporary clearing, construction corridor) in square feet: 300 square feet of access corridor (approximately 30' by 10') from driveway down to lake. 10. Please describe the vegetation above the normal pool lake level/ Normal Water Level and 50 feet landward to be impacted (number of trees, for instance): 3-7 ft above full pond is vertical wall of sand, weathered/fractured rock. Above this vertical wall is 2:1 slope of lot. 5 mature FORM: SSGP 02-2017 Page 2 of 5 trees (4 pine, 1 locust) are near drop off and at risk of falling. We believe 4 can be saved. One is leaning severely and will have to be removed. All other native plants( ferns, grasses etc) on the 2:1 slope will not be impacted other than a 10 foot temporary access corridor 11.
