Hi Amanda and Zan,
I have reviewed the information sent to me about the Maresh-Pride Foundation Repair project, which
documents after -the -fact 150 ft of bank stabilization with riprap to Flat Creek in Buncombe County.
Flat Creek does host a wild Rainbow Trout population and Eastern Hellbenders (US Federal Species of
Concern, NC Special Concern). We recommend planting the bank with native shrubs and trees in order to
provide shade and additional stabilization for the site.
