FROM: Dennis Ramsey ORIGINAL SIGNED BY: D.R.R.
SUBJECT: Application for CAMA Permit
John Canady
Beaufort County
The Subject application has been reviewed for water quality impacts
and the following comments are offered:
1. A 401 Certification will be required but the project does meet
the requirements for general certification for fill behind
bulkheads.
2. The proposed boat basin may encroach on the setback that must
be maintained for the existing septic tank system. Our
regional office has contacted the applicant in this regard and
asked him to provide a revised plat showing the location of
the septic tank system with respect to the proposed basin.
It is recommended that further action on the application be
deferred until the requested information has been received.
