A color map is also attached showing the temporary and permanent wetland impacts. We eliminated the small impact by changing the entrance road off of Church Street. We also revised the PCN form to show the impacts as shown on the color map. Please call or email if you have questions or comments or need additional information. Below is the original email please let me know if you have any questions. I have a few questions about the Church Street Drainage permit application so that I can finish processing the application. 1. Please clarify the wetland impact areas, which are permanent and which are temporary and what measures will be taken for the temporary impacts. The application does not adequately describe the differences and does not include all impacts shown on the attached maps. Please submit a color map showing the different types of impacts (temporary/permanent). 2. Will piped area be maintained within the wetland area (ex. mowed)? 3. 1 need information about the type of equipment to be used in the wetland. If heavy equipment is to be used mats and other temporary measures must be used to reduce impacts to the surrounding wetland areas. 4. Is there an existing ditch onsite or does it run offsite to the north along the property boundary? 5. Please explain on the Proposed Drainage Improvements Plan drawing what JB 1, RIM=11.75 and INV=8.51 stand for. Please clarify the wetland impact areas, which are permanent and which are temporary and what measures will be taken for temporary impacts. The application does not adequately describe the differences and does not include all impacts shown on the attached maps. Please submit a color map showing the different types of impacts (temporary/permanent). Response: The application has been revised to show permanent and temporary impacts as shown on the impact map. The map has been revised to show the temporary impacts in red and permanent impacts in blue. Also the entrance off of Church Street has been relocated in order to eliminate the impact on the south west corner of the wetland. 2. Will piped area be maintained within the wetland area (ex. mowed)? Response: Disturbed areas will be seeded but not maintained. 3. 1 need information about the type of equipment to be used in the wetland. If heavy equipment is to be used mats and other temporary measures must be used to reduce impacts to the surrounding wetland areas. Response: The contractor has a small trackhoe that has rubbertracks. The contractor also has mats for a larger trackhoe if needed. 4. Is there an existing ditch onsite or does it run offsite to the north along the property boundary? Response: The ditch is about half onsite at the discharge point then runs offsite to the north. 107B COMMERCE STREET 102D CINEMA DRIVE 3302C BRIDGES STREET GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA 27858 WILMINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA 28403 MOREHEAD CITY, NORTH CAROLINA 28557 252.756.9352 910.815.0775 252.247.7479 STROUD ENGINEERING, R A.
