NOTE: The.permittee is urged.to meet with representatives of DCM and/or Corps of Engineers prior to project initiation. The lots are further identified as Lots.Nos. 25. and 26 in Block A of the Seavista Sub- division. The properties were designed for residential development originally and are currently undeveloped: Vegetation is mixed pine and hardwood's on clay soils and elevations up to 6'. The shoreline is characterized by marsh `fringe of black needlerush marsh up to 150' wide. The in- terface between high ground and marsh drops suddenly and is clearly discernible: Approximately.on the property line separating these two lots exists a 203' long by 5'.wide pier which crosses the marsh and extends into Pierce Creek. 'A 60' wide "T" exists on the pier end, the deck of which is 5' wide. The pier is jointly owned by the owners of Lots 25 and 26. The applicants are proposing the placement of eight mooring pilings adjacent to this pier in order to form tie-ups for their private vessels. 10. Anticipated impacts The eight pilings ire proposed to be driven and washed into place.
