ADDITIONAL REGIONAL STAFF REVIEW ITEMS This review was conducted for a request by Barnes Environmental Waste & Hauling, Inc. to modify their land application of residuals permit. The permit modification requests the addition of two additional sources (Ocean Bay Villas — 25 DT/yr and The Grove — 25 DT/yr) to bring the total amount of residuals to be certified to 110 dry tons/year. The sludge analysis for the new sources indicate metals are below ceiling concentration limits and sodium adsorption rates (SAR) results were below 10. Pathogen and vector attraction reduction requirements will be met by lime stabilization. In 2017, only 25.4 total dry tons were land applied to 24.7 of 45 available acres. Field loading rates for metals and PAN are being calculated, along with cumulative pollutant loading rates and they are compliant. The WiRO recommends issuance of the permit modification.
