During your site inspection 17 unmarked and/or improperly labeled drums were noted at the aeration basins. Upon further investigation, it was determined that these drums contained residual finishing compound material from post -closure clean up efforts in the former Durafiber main plant area. We contracted DH Griffin Wrecking Co., who was already on-site handling collection and disposal of other wastes, to remove these drums and dispose of their contents properly. Attached for your records are a copy of the email from DH Griffin confirming the waste removal, a copy of the waste manifest documenting the delivery of the drum contents to the HOH Corporation centralized waste treatment plant, and a few photos of the removal process. Please let me know if you need any further information, or if any further action is required to demonstrate compliance.
