If you haven't already got it, the consultant wassupposed to ask that this go on "hold". this site is currently
the subject of an enforcement action. In a meeting at the site on June 20, Allen Davis told the engineer that
the COE would not process any application for the site until the violations were resolved and all
unpermitted fill removed. I thought I had called Rob and asked him to flag this one. Anyway, it won't be
processed by the corps. I told Bob Bennett that he probably wouldn't get his money back, so he should at
least ask that it go on hold until a better agreement was reached on what could be approved. Call me if you
have a question.
on another subject. I've had a call from one of the regional DOT environmental contacts about replacing an
old wooden pier bridge with two box culverts. Is this something that is usually a general cert. or are these
very site specific?
