On July 5, 2006 the NC Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received a copy of the Corps of Engineers Public Notice for
the above-mentioned project. The comment period ends August 7, 2006. An Individual 404 Permit will be required for this
project. Please note that the following must be received prior to issuance of a 401 Water Quality Certification:
1. The 401 Certification cannot be processed until five (5) complete sets of the application and associated maps
are received at the DWQ Central Office in Raleigh.
A review of the materials received reflect that a fee of $475 was remitted under the CAMA Major permit.
Until the information requested in this letter is provided, I will request (by copy of this letter) that the Corps of
Engineers place this project on hold. Thank you for your attention. If you have any questions, please contact Ian McMillan
