On July 17, 2006, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your CAMA Major application dated
,May 25, 2006 to dredge 372 acres of open water and place fill on 205 acres of the beach below MHW and
255 acres of beach above MHW for the purpose of beach renourishment. The DWQ will require
additional information in order to process your application to impact protected waters on the subject
property.
1. This office has been advised by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Wilmington Regulatory
Office that the USACE is in the process of reviewing comments received in response to the public
notice and is determining if the project meets the conditions of a General Permit or if an Individual
Permit is required. The DWQ will place this project on hold as incomplete until we receive this
additional information.
This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands, waters
or protected buffers. Please be aware that any impacts requested within your application are not
