Dear Ms. Hurdle: -
The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the Town of
Hertford WWTP on 7/05/2018. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is
operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Non-discharge Permit
No. WQ0021289. The findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the
enclosed copy of the inspection report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report".
The reclaimed water utilization facilities shall be properly maintained at all times. Permit
conditions III Operation and Maintenance Requirements [ 15A NCAC 02T.0108(B)(1)] A
suitable year round vegetative cover shall be maintained on irrigation sites at all times, such
that crop health is optimized, allows for even distribution of reclaimed water, allows inspection
of the irrigation system.
There were no significant issues or findings noted during the inspection and therefore, a
response to this inspection report is not required.
