4a. Describe the existing conditions on the site and the general land use in the vicinity of the project at the time of this application:*

The existing condition of the project is consisting of residential land use and one elementary school. These
subdivisions were built in the late 1970's and early 1980's. The proposed project location has been experiencing
severe erosion. Due to the active severe erosion of the stream banks that is currently reaching the vicinity of
nearby residential structures and potentially leading to public safety issue, appropriate measures are proposed to
prevent this severe bank erosion from continuing to migrate.

The purpose of this project is to stabilize the stream banks with rock toes and using native plants to strengthen the
current stream banks to prevent future severe erosion which will minimize the loss of residential structures and
public safety.
4g. Describe the overall project in detail, including indirect impacts and the type of equipment to be used:*
A series of rock toes, riffles, and slope banks with matting will be constructed using less impacted equipment such
as rubber tracks to prevent heavy compaction. Rock toes to armor the stream banks at the bend sections. Live
stakes will be planted to create the natural condition and the roots to help with stabilize natural stream banks.

erosion. Rubber tires will be use to minimize soil disturbance. Minimal amount of tree removal will be taken into
