NCG080810 is still listed as being owner/operated by Mail Transport Services. Stormwater permits run with the facility
and can’t be transferred to another location. The permit is site specific. If BJ trucking is the current owner/operator at
this site and operations are similar, they will need to submit a Change of Name/Ownership Form to us so we can update
the permit to show the new owner contact and billing information. I’ve included a copy of the form in this response.
As the permit is expired and the facility has remained in operation, they will also need to contact the Stormwater
Permitting Unit to bring the permit to active status.

Glen,
I was having trouble getting in contact with a facility (317 Edwardia Dr.), so I went out there to speak with them. The
company is DJ’s Repair and they have been there for about 2.5 years (not original permit holder) and knew nothing
about the permit. I believe they perform the same truck maintenance work as the previous company. When I got back
to the office, I checked the most recent Active Permit List and noticed the permit expired at the end of October.
I don’t totally know how this process works so it may already be in the works but I wanted to let you know that it looks
like they may need a permit of their own. Through speaking with them, I found out that they do not own the property. I
was wondering how that affects the permitting process. Is the permit issued to the company/tenant operating at the
site and would the permit travel with them if they moved to a different address or is it specific to that facility?
