Each stream that is checked "Not Subject" may have been determined to be at least intermittent, perennial or present on the property but do not appear on either the most recent published NRCS Soil Survey of PITT County, nor on the most recent copy of the USGS Topographic map. Therefore, these three drainage features are not subject to the Neuse River Riparian Buffer Rules. Landowners or affected parties that dispute a determination made by the DWR may request a determination by the Director. An appeal request must be made within sixty (60) calendar days of date of this letter to the Director in writing.
