Tom and I visited B-5980 on June 27 to determine if the small UT to Swift Creek was in
fact jurisdictional. In an email dated July 5t" Tom determined that this feature as
highlighted in the attached pdf is in fact non iurisdictional. This feature shows up on the
USGS topo map in the approximate vicinity as surveyed. However this feature is not on
the soils map. Please provide verification that this feature is non jurisdictional and not
buffered from NCDWR's perspective. The coordinates of the midpoint of the surveyed
feature is N 36.06681 W 77.82197
