The Pretreatment Unit of the Division of Water Quality has reviewed the request to drop the
following Industry from the list of significant industrial users (SI(is) for the Town of Pittsboro.
This drop request was received by the Division on July 2, 2002.

The review indicates that the SIU has ceased discharge of process wastewater to the Town's
WWTP. Therefore, the SIU drop request is approved based on compliance with 15 NCAC 211
.0907(c) and .0903(b)(34). Therefore, the SIU list which is part of your approved pretreatment
program is hereby modified.
You are reminded that if the Town makes plans to begin accepting non-domestic wastewater
from the industry again, the Division concerns discussed in our June 26, 2002, letter must be
addressed.
