Dear Mr. Messick,
Please find enclosed the list of P4 permits issued to the Town of Pittsboro
WWTP, NPDES Permit NC0020354. Division records indicate that it has been some
time since the flow for the subject plant was reconciled and for the period October 1997
to September 1998 the reported average on the Discharge Monthly Report is 82.4% of
the permitted flow. The flow issued through sewer line permits totals 204,520 GPD and
the 12 month average flow for the plant is 413,700 GPD for a grand total of 618,220
GPD. According to Division records, the permitted flow for the subject facility is 0.75
MGD. To avoid possible sewer line nioratorium, please report to me as soon as possible
sewer line permits from the Division but not yet tributary to the plant. I would
appreciate yearly updates to insure the accuracy of my flow data.
