The Division received the Sewer Use Ordinance for the Town of Pittsboro, the SUO Checklist, and the
attorney's statement on July 15, and September 3, 1997. The review of the Sewer Use Ordinance performed
by the Pretreatment Unit of the Division of Water Quality indicates that the ordinance meets the minimum
requirements of 15A NCAC 2H .0900 and 40 CFR 403. The Sewer Use Ordinance is approved and should
be adopted by the local governing body as soon as possible. Upon adoption, please inform the Division's
Pretreatment Unit of the SUO adoption date.
