Billing records, the NC Manufacturers registry, and previous IWS's were used to construct this most current Industrial Waste Survey. These results have been summarized in the submitted IWS checklist. The submitted IWS's were reviewed and our billing department was consulted to ensure service and proper water readings were given. I found no other industries that needed to be on an industrial user permit. From the information collected and analyzed during this industrial waste survey, GKN will remain the Town of Maiden's only SIU(CIU). The Town of Maiden asks every business coming into town to fill out a short form regardless of type or size keeping our industrial information up to date. This also keeps the wastewater/ pretreatment departments and our planning department communicating well with each another.
