NATIONAL POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM
In compliance with the provision of North Carolina General Statute 143-215.1, other lawful standards and
regulations promulgated and adopted by the North Carolina Environmental Management Commission, and the
Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended,
Tuckaseigee Water & Sewer Authority
is hereby authorized to discharge stormwater from a site located at:
Jackson County WWTP
1871 N River Rd
Sylva
Jackson County
to receiving waters designated as Tuckasegee River, class C;Tr waters in the Little Tennessee River Basin, in
accordance with the effluent limitations, monitoring requirements, and other conditions set forth in N.C. General
Permit No. NCG110000, issued on 5/31/2018.
This Certificate of Coverage shall become effective on 6/1/2018.
This Certificate of Coverage shall remain in effect for the duration of the General Permit.
