Overflow only storm water discharge relates to the southeastern excavation area. 2. Perimeter berms have been installed. 3. A silt fence has been installed along the entire length of the outside of the eastern (low side) berm as a measure to prevent sediment/erosion during pipe and rip rap installation. 4. The berm (at pipe location) has been curved inward toward the excavation area to create an area for the rip rap so the rip rap will not encroach into the low area. 5. Geotextile fabric has been installed on both sides of the berm at pipe and rip rap locations. 6. Overflow pipe and rip rap has been installed per detail 5 on mine map. 7. Silt fence will remain. 8. The bottom of the pipe is above typical pond water level. 9. This measure is for over flow purposes only. No pumping will occur in this excavation area. 10. Overflow pipe and rip rap will be inspected routinely and repaired when required. 11. Receiving waters will be inspected routinely. Let me know if this is an acceptable O&M Plan. Also, let me know if this email will suffice or if I need to send an updated map. Thank you. Marc K. Please submit a short narrative to Chris, as the Operations and Monitoring Plan. Present the work still to be completed, description of how the work will be accomplished, the expected time frame, and the measures to be used to minimize the chance of negative impacts. The plan should include the routine inspections as required by the NPDES SW permit text (with notification to this office of any negative impacts observed to wetlands or other waters of the state by the operation as proposed prior to continued operation). Please copy me for my information and the file. You may want to contact Chris directly with any questions or as always, feel free to contact me anytime for assistance.
