Thank you for the information you submitted regarding shoreline stabilization on Hyco Lake. Your activity, described as
rip rap stabilization of 126.4 linear feet of shoreline (stated as having no wetlands), fits the description of Department of
Army, Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers General Permit 198200030 (GP 30) as long as the work is done in
compliance with GP 30 Special Conditions and General Conditions (attached).
Note, however, that you must also receive approval from the NC Division of Water Resources (NCDWR). Please see the
Shoreline Stabilization Form and Help Document (updated February 2017) at the following NCDWR website:
