Hoke County would like to take this opportunity to describe our commitment to stormwater
management resulting from new development in support of the referenced permit application.
As you are aware Hoke County is part of the Phase II stormwater management permitting
program as a "tipped in" county. As part of this program Hoke County requires permanent on
site post construction measures intended to diffuse and allay the effects from concentrated
runoff from all new development. These individual features may include level spreaders, scour
holes, bioretention measures, and constructed wetlands. These measures are in addition to the
stipulations set forth in project specific DWQ regulatory approvals for stormwater management
of future development, some of which may be partially encouraged by the availability of the
Beaver Creek Gravity Sewer Interceptor.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me or Mr. Charlie McGougan at Marziano
& McGougan, P.A. in Asheboro, NC (336-629-3931).
Sincerely,
Ti hnson, Manager
