Do not click links or open attachments unless verified. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to Report Spam.<mailto:report.spam@nc.gov> Mr. West, My name is David Bailey and I am the Regulatory Project Manager for the US Army Corps of Engineers assigned to Caswell County. I have reviewed the information you sent to NCDWR including the pictures you sent her via email on 5/20/2018. Based on the information you submitted, your proposed project would not fit the terms and conditions of General Permit No 198200030 (GP 30) as the shoreline does not appear to be actively eroding (Special Condition "u"; http://saw-reg.usace.army.mil/RGP/RGP30-2016-12-23.pdf#page=2&zoom=auto,-73,188). Furthermore, the pictures you submitted did not show an existing boat dock as suggested by the plan view and aerial photo submitted with the NCDWR Shoreline Stabilization Application Form. In order to qualify to use GP 30 or any other Corps permit related to stabilization of an eroding shoreline, you must submit further information justifying that the shoreline is eroding, and/or that additional work is proposed along the shoreline (subject to Corps/NCDWR evaluation) and that rip rap stabilization is a necessary component of that work. Please let me know if you have any questions. Sincerely, Dave Bailey David E.
