All work authorized by this permit must be performed in strict compliance with the attached work plans which are part of the permit. 2. The following are conservation measures that the District Engineer is requiring the permittee to comply with to ensure that the authorized work avoids impacts to threatened or endangered species or their critical habitat: a. No work at night is allowed. b. No work can occur before each day's morning sea turtle nesting survey is completed, and the site is determined to be free of turtle nesting activity by the Network for Endangered Sea Turtles (N.E.S.T.) c. No overnight storage of equipment on the beach is allowed. d. No work or equipment is allowed outside the 0.6 acre defined project footprint. e. Sea turtle nesting surveys must continue until the project is complete. f. If sea turtle nesting activity is observed, all work must cease, and the Fish and Wildlife Service must be contacted for further guidance.
