The project study area (PSA) consists primarily of developed residential properties adjacent to
disturbed/maintained roadways along the Rocky River Road West roadway. Undeveloped, mixed pine/hardwood
forested areas are located adjacent to the PSA. Three streams are located in the PSA (See Attached JD
Request).

This project is intended to upgrade Rocky River Road West between North Tryon Street and Toby Creek, with the
goal of providing a safe, modern, complete street that includes upgraded pedestrian and bicycle facilities. See
Supplemental Information for additional details.

Roadway improvements that includes upgraded pedestrian and bicycle facilities and will require a minor stream
relocation that will be constructed using natural stream channel design. Track hoes, dump trucks, bulldozers,
